Podcast Audio: Is ‘I’ really Before ‘e’, except after ‘c’ ?

My research topic was to clarify the spelling rule, ‘i before e except after c’ and to reveal things about the rule that the audience may not be familiar with. I cover a lot of the commonly known aspects of this rule like, what it tries to achieve in English writing and words that are exceptions to the rule. I also highlight the many unknowns about this rule like the originator, the era it was introduced and the foundation of its origin. I also explain the often misunderstood extensions to this rule. The broader issue I to discuss is the importance of improving our writing skills.
